AudioSFX was responsible for the foley in Lost in Translation, with Will Storkson as Foley Supervisor and Editor, Jory Prum as Foley Recordist, and Marnie Moore performing as the Foley Artist. Lost in Translation wins 3 Golden Globes!Sofia Coppola and Bill Murray both walked away with Golden Globe awards tonight for their efforts on Sofia's latest film. Ms. Coppola was awarded Golden Globes for both "Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy" and "Best Screenplay - Motion Picture". Mr. Murray won his award for "Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy". AudioSFX would like to congratulate everyone involved on the project! Oedipus debuts at SundanceThe new stop-motion animated film Oedipus opened Friday in the Sundance Film Festival. William Storkson was responsible for sound design, with Jory Prum filling in the backgrounds and whatnot. Lost In Translation garners 5 Golden Globe nominations!Today, the 2004 Golden Globe Award nominations were announced and Sofia Coppola's Lost in Translation got five, including Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy! Other nominations were for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy for Scarlett Johansson's role as Charlotte, Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy for Bill Murray's role as Bob Harris, Best Director - Motion Picture, and Best Screenplay - Motion Picture. Mixing completed on 3 films at AudioSFXWilliam Storkson of AudioSFX has just completed final mixes on 3 films: Andante Cantible, Night of Henna, and Foo Foo Dust. Andante Cantible is a live action short film by Yueh Liu which came to AudioSFX for audio post production services, including sound design and final mix. Night of Henna, a feature-length live action film by Hassan Zee and photographed by Hiro Norita, stars Girja Shanker, Pooja Kumar, and Craig Marker. AudioSFX's William Storkson was asked to provide post production audio services, as well as additional music and sound design. The final mix was also produced in house. Foo Foo Dust is a documentary by Gina Levy, requiring an original score and sound design. William Storkson and Brendan Proctor performed the final mix at SkyWalker Sound's Mix A AudioSFX has a new website!After a long delay in updating its web presence, AudioSFX now has its new website up and running! AudioSFX is Captured! By Robots!William Storkson & Jory K. Prum recorded a special DVD and CD for JBOT, the musical slave to a band of robots. Under extreme duress, the project was brought to fruition with Billybot Storkson editing and mixing, and Jorytron authoring the DVD. It has already sold several hundred copies in the first month, as well as receiving the attention of Geeks everywhere on Slashdot. Lynnette Shaw comes to AudioSFX for her 4 Pot Peace project.August 27, 2003 -- After many months of recording, the 4 Pot Peace album is complete. The project was recorded by William Storkson and Jory K. Prum, with Jory editing and mixing, while Will performed the mastering. The project is slated to be available in both stereo and 5.1. Adaptation receives 2 Golden Globe awards out of 6 nominations!Meryl Streep and Chris Cooper both won Golden Globe awards for their performances!
